The Last 2024 Croft No Five T-Shirt in Grey, Small.

There are two Safety Yellow one’s which were band only but were rejected by band members sue to artistic differences. They are HERE.

“Low Yield Small Holdings’ is the description that the crofting commission uses to describe a Scottish croft. Concentrating only on the economical worth of said property and neglecting to acknowledge the cultural, familial and historical importance of subsistence level farming to our societal make-up. Philosophical kibosh aside, this artwork seeks to celebrate the upstanding and charismatic community from which the band was immersed in it’s infancy, very little of the original crofting culture remains in the areas from which we hail, instead it has developed into an inclusive and future thinking community of folk not farming for money or survival but for love and sustenance. It is a celebration of guile, of dogged determination, whilst maintaining high craic-persistence through the never ending pestilence of monetary servitude. I also think the title ‘Low Yield Small Holdings’ is good for a band with 8 men in it, it is emasculating and pokes fun at ‘the testosterone fuelled sausage festival’ that we have been described as in the past. T-shirts were screen printed by hand, by Xander Mac at the House of Pistard in Govanhill.
