Halloween, Samhain; a day to celebrate the dead. To usher in the darkness of winter… to have the spirits on your side… placated and bathed in the hedonism of fire, fungus, hedonism and fornication. And it makes me sad that we’ve turned it into this Hollywood pastiche. Dead people are important; I’ve got a lot of important dead people and I try to speak to them and I’m deluded enough to think that they act through me sometimes. Once again we’ve ruined an important spiritual festival with commerce and idiocy. I’d imagine that on Halloween the dead feel very much like Jesus on Christmas; completely misunderstood and drowning in a sea of misguided ignorance.
Collection very much preferred. Can be crated and couriered at additional expense.
